Designed by architect Christian search and Müller, houses built in this underground example the idea that buildings can be built with the serious live in harmony with the surrounding environment.
Located in the village of Vals Switzerland away in the mountains, this house is almost undetectable. The whole building is under ground, concrete structure features a large oval, open patio will look through a series of steps that are embedded in the rocks of steep.
At the top center of the terrace which is surrounded by a sprawling façade is formed like a large window open yamg, which provides bright reflection from Alpine vista across the narrow valley.
Bathed in abundant natural light, the house is much more glamorous than an underground bunker typical.
This includes all public facilities such as a full kitchen, dining room, living room and entertainment area, while features such as lines underground shelter provides a touch of military talent.
By building an underground house, the architects can almost completely eliminate the need for heating or cooling in winter and summer.
Vals in the majority of modern architecture proposal is considered damaging the local atmosphere and is generally not preferred.
The architects created a beautiful place to live that does not encroach on adjacent regions of the hot water bath or alpine scenery.
