Architects in Mission (AIM) competition organized by Zeybekoglu Nayman Associates (ZNA), and its purpose is to enhance the high quality of architectural design students and young professionals, and provides a platform for them to demonstrate their design talents and abilities.
Cable 8 is an industrial complex in Beijing, China, the production of electrical cables, and recently revitalized evolved into an incubator for art and design. High or low cable 8 buildings, with brick walls covered with vines they, forming a striking contrast with the high-rise buildings that sprung up around it.
Participants are encouraged to develop strategies and mechanisms to improve the cable 8, which makes them more sensitive to rapidly changing urban landscape, and better performance as a bearer of culture to help diversify otherwise homogeneous nature CBD area. Participants can improve existing buildings or introducing a cable 8 new architecture.
