Tonji University in Shanghai Bamboo House European Solar-powered solar decathlon is inspired both by nature. There are two elegant sloping roof and is built almost entirely of bamboo. Solar produces impressive with nine kilowatt electric power room, a supply room.
We love how the house of Chinese traditional architecture with state of the art technology – has a temperature and humidity control systems, high levels of thermal insulation, and an enclosed garden of bamboo.

Tonji University team has 20 members and is comprised of doctors, graduate students and scholars, who include many disciplines – from architecture and urban planning for energy development. They hope that their house with solar energy can help to promote their cutting-edge ideas about the use of renewable energy in urban residential areas.
The team spent six months designing and building a house from scratch and they hope that their hard work bear fruit. Structurally, the house is strongly influenced by traditional Chinese architecture, but with effective air nuances of contemporary architecture.
