Amazing Headquarter Bank to Chased LEED Silver Certification

The amazing energy efficient bank headquarters building will echo the landscaping in Buenos Aires. Its designed by Foster + Partners, that has been unveiled this bank head quarter of the Banco Ciudad de Buenos Aires design to gets LEED Silver certification. Its also collaboration with construction firm CRIBA S.A. and local architect BBRCH-Minond.

The new bank headquarters with undulating overhanging roof, will occupy an entire city block in the neighborhood of Parque Patricios, and will be situated right across the street from a large urban park.

It will has features such as internal courtyards, shaded walkways, and external landscaped patios that connect the various areas of the building, and also with four story atrium in the inside that can provides direct circulation to the four tiers of terraced office spaces, each with direct views of the park.

The magoficent undulating overhanging roof, will be used to  shades the entire bank campus, but still lets in light through the atrium and skylights.

Foster + Partners’ design for the bank headquarters is part of a larger scheme by the city to regenerate a former industrial area of in the barrio of Parque Patricios. By incorporating a number of sustainable features, the bank will target LEED Silver certification.

Green building strategies include utilizing the exposed thermal mass of concrete soffits with chilled beams for cooling, reducing energy demand through carefully-oriented shaded facades, and the use of natural ventilation.
